Rupert Johnson Memorial Stadium was built at the existing Doubleday Field at the West Point Military Academy in West Point, NY, in 1996. Scope of work included building code review; evaluation of existing conditions; investigation, coordination, and design of the existing space parameters, architectural features, electrical service capacity, lighting, HVAC, and structural components. Delta’s architectural design, drawings, and specifications included layout of the space, ADA accessibility, roof access ladder, seating, visual sight lines, sound attenuation, operational logistics, egress, natural lighting, finishes, and aesthetics. Delta also provided project management services on this project. Under a previous contract, Delta provided the initial feasibility study of the construction of this new building.
