Delta provided a schematic plan with recommendations for materials, ADA compliance, stormwater features, and holiday features. Other suggestions included relocating the kiosk and power service to the touchscreen device charging stations and improving the lighting throughout the park with LED lighting for safety and aesthetics. To better unify the space with Main Street, use of natural building materials such as stone and brick were recommended and sustainable solutions such as pervious pavement were recommended in alignment with sensitivity of the site proximity to Otsego Lake. Selected plants included a variety of native and seasoned materials that were matched to the Village maintenance budget.
