Due to funding constraints at the time, these documents were not used to progress to construction. In November 2014, this project was revived with the focus on modernizing the elevators in Livingston, Eastman, and Stuyvesant Towers. All of Mohawk Tower was completely renovated in years prior, hence the reason for the focus on the other three. Delta developed complete construction documents for the remaining three towers to be bid as one project. After discussions with the University and vertical transportation consultants, it was determined the most efficient and least disruptive plan for the upgrades was to perform one complete elevator rehabilitation each summer from 2015 through 2017.
