This project provided design to increase the capacity of the existing parking lot from 50 to 63 spaces to improve safety and efficiency, ADA compliance, traffic flow for daily visitors, and special events capabilities for The Farmers’ Museum in Cooperstown, NY.

An estimate of probable costs was developed for the entrance and parking lot, and concepts through construction drawings were provided. Key improvements included period-style LED lights, cobblestone curbs, iron railings, drainage structures, pavements, traffic directional signs, and turn-of-the-century landscaping. Site amenities included benches, storage, and trash enclosures. Three dimensional graphic illustrations of entrance views and construction support were also provided.
