TES completed a Phase 1 bog turtle survey within wetlands delineated by others as well as timber rattlesna ke surveys. The TES reports were used as part of the Article 7 submission to the Public Service Commission.
TES also prepared a training program for workers at the Cricket Valley Generation facility on the potential endangered and threatened species that may be encountered. Species included in this presentation included the spotted turtle, Blanding’s turtle, bog turtle, and the New England Cottontail. This presentation was incorporated into a video for presentation to new construction hires working on the project. The training program was a permitting requirement for construction of the facility.
