This creative space transformation project changed an existing two-story lecture hall into a fourth-floor computer lab, a fifth-floor long-distance learning lecture hall as well as yielding an intermediate floor. The new spaces utilize variable air volume boxes with reheats and the existing mechanical air handler systems were used to provide both ventilation and air conditioning. Duct noise was evaluated and mitigated in the long-distance learning conference room since active microphones were deployed throughout the space.
