Matterport is a web based platform that enhances the client experience by allowing the user to create 3D models of existing conditions or the final project. As photos are taken, Matterport automatically stitches all of the data together and can be exported into SketchUp, Revit, AutoCAD, and other BIM software. 3D walkthroughs can be created and used for measurement and remote inspection, requiring less travel time and reducing site visits. The Matterport Pro2 camera captures high resolution images with dimensions within 1% accuracy. Various 3D cameras, smartphones, and tablets are also compatible with Matterport.
