Environmental Services

Delta provides comprehensive environmental project design and monitoring services that enable our clients to cost effectively address a wide range of regulations related to asbestos, lead-based paint, indoor air quality, hazardous materials, mold, water quality, OSHA compliance and industrial hygiene concerns. We are fully certified to provide these services at the New York State and Federal levels by the New York State Department of Labor (NYSDOL) and the Environmental Protection Agency and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (EPA/OSHA) respectively. Delta project designers and field technicians including asbestos inspectors, lead-based paint inspectors and risk assessors undergo regular training refreshers to stay up-to-date with current industry standards and regulations.

We began offering environmental services in 2006 and quickly established a solid reputation for design and subject matter expertise, field monitoring reliability, and cost-effective project delivery. We maintain a comprehensive toolkit of the latest environmental sampling and analysis equipment, including the RMD XRF LPA-1 Lead Paint Analyzer. The LPA-1 lead paint analyzer is a fast, efficient way to quantify lead content on painted substrates. Our Environmental Group excels at performing multiple, concurrent task assignments under term agreements for large clients. We currently hold active environmental term agreements with higher education clients such as Cornell and Colgate University, state agencies such as the Dormitory Authority of the State of New York, municipal and county governments as well as private clients.
