In 2012 the owners of the Broadway Diner hired Delta to design a 1,000 square foot addition and new entry façade to their existing building located in Endwell, NY. Delta’s scope of services for this project included architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, structural, and civil design services.
As part of the 1,000 square foot addition and façade design, a new entryway and check out area were added as well as new bathroom facilities to bring the diner up to code and make it handicap accessible. A new rooftop HVAC unit was also added along with service station upgrades. Improvements were made to the existing outside façade of the building and new building signage gave the Broadway Diner improved visibility.
Additionally, several upgrades to the existing interior of building were made such as repainting the old dining area and upgrading floor finishes and fixtures to keep consistent with the new aesthetic design of the addition. A new landscaping layout was also added to enhance the exterior of the new diner.
